Well, hello there!

Yes, I am still in the land of the living.....just!! Nah, have had a pretty rocky start to the year.....I say that as we approach the halfway point! I was going to come along and give a big long winded explanation....but decided against it. Long story short, Evie was hospitalised for a month, still unwell for another month after that, we've moved house, and had a lovely little family drama added into the mix. Somehow I have come out the other side relatively unscathed..........and ready to get right back into blogging, taking loads of photos, knitting......oh and baking. I have the baking bug baaaad!
So, no photos tonight.....but next time you visit come prepared with a cuppa (or a wine, whatever takes your fancy) as I hope to bring some lovely tales of my family life, piccies of my beautiful children, perhaps a favourite recipe, hopefully some scrummy op shop finds..........possibly not all at once, but I'll get there!
Thanks for sticking around, and here's to much less stressful second half of the year!
I'm back. Yay.

  4. well I am not sure if my comment posted or not so will redo for luck :-)

Found you on Art Candy's link - thank you for posting your wonderful blog there. My youngest daughter was born with a serious heart condition and she has had the fight of her life to be here with us today and her journey is far from over. Our paths may be different but from one mum to another on such a horrid and unfair journey I send you love and hugs. I know that strength and bravery will come when you need it most, because as a mum we have no choice but to mourn it all later. I am sure that this gorgeous little girl has given you incredible perspective on what is now important, I credit my daughter with teaching me that every single day. If you ever want a friendly ear and a shoulder then please come and find me xxx (koochie koo)
